One day, while he was cutting a tree near a river, his axe slipped from his hands and fell into the deep water. Andi sat down and cried because the axe was the only tool he had to make money.

Suddenly, a beautiful fairy appeared from the river. She asked, “Why are you crying, good man?” Andi told her everything. The fairy then dived into the river and came back with a golden axe. “Is this yours?” she asked. Andi shook his head. The fairy dived again and brought a silver axe. Again, Andi said no. Finally, she brought an old rusty iron axe. Andi smiled and said, “Yes, that is mine.”

The fairy was so happy with his honesty that she gave him all three axes as a reward. Andi went home with a grateful heart and lived happily ever after.

Tips Mengerjakan Soal Narrative Text
